Our statement of faith
We believe that the Lord is the most high God. He is worthy of reverence by all men and women.
We believe that universal sovereignty belongs to God because he is the creator of the universe, and the source of all life (Revelation 4:11; 1 Timothy 6:15-16).
We believe that Jesus Christ, the only son of God who became flesh, died on the cross for the sins of mankind and was buried, rose on the third day, went up to heaven where he is seated at the right hand of God the Father; He will come back to take the church, judge the world and establish his reign (1 Corinthians 15:3-4; 1 Thessalonians:16-17).
We believe that Jesus Christ is:
- The only savior and the only mediator between God and man (1 Tim. 2:5);
- The only name given among men through which we can be saved (Acts 4:12);
- The hope of all nations (Matthew 12:21);
- The one who baptizes into the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4; 9:6);
- The Supreme leader of the church (Ephesians 1:22);
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine being, and his ministry and gifts accompany us. (John 7:37-39; John 14:16; Acts 1:8).
We believe that God the Father, God the Son, and God the holy spirit form the divine trinity (John 10:30; John 14:9-11).
We believe that:
- The Bible is the word of God. Therefore, it is our final authority in all matters about life and doctrine.
- The principles of life contained in the word of God, the Holy Bible, govern our way of.
We believe that to symbolize his identification with the Lord Jesus Christ, the disciple shall obey the command of baptism by immersion (Matthew 3:13-17).
We believe that the great commission to proclaim the good news of salvation to all creation shall concern all who become disciples of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19-20).
We believe that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).
We believe that God is holy and those who are saved must live a holy life (Hebrews 12:14; 1 Peter 1:16; Romans 12:1-2).
We believe that salvation comes by grace to whoever repents and believes in the Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9; Acts 20:20-21).
We believe that salvation includes deliverance from sin, diseases, all forms of demon possession and curses. (Isaiah 53:5; Matthew 8:16-17).
We believe that the power of divine healing is manifested through prayer by those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour (Mark 16:17; James 5:14); However, medical treatment should be sought for health purposes, God being the source of science and knowledge.
We believe that the christian community according to the Bible seeks the fulfillment and prosperity of its members in all aspects (3 John:2).
We believe that the church is the body of Christ. (Ephesians 1:21-23). It is made up of all who have received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour, regardless of their religious denomination.
We believe that all children of God are part of the Holy priesthood (Revelation 1:5-6; 1 Peter 2:9).
We believe that each one is called to serve God according to the spiritual gifts and talents they have received (Ephesians 4:11-13; Romans 12:5-8).
We believe that the spreading of the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is done in peace, respect, and tolerance.
